"The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others." -Gandhi

Through training and coaching, that is how I found myself. It is hard to put one word on how I train. It's bodybuilding, CrossFit, strongman, recreational, esoteric; it's all and none of them. My style has been shaped through exploration.

My first introduction to the weight room was through high school sports. I was on the cross country and track teams and made my way to college through those endeavors. At the California University of Pennslyvania, I became a decathlete. I ran, jumped, pole vaulted, threw; I did it all. Training for all these different events made me focus on being well-rounded but it exposed me to all the different methods of training.

After a spinal injury in college, I chose to pursue coaching. I began working in the collegiate weight room as an intern and soon became the men's soccer strength coach. My time at the university allowed me to work with Olympians, NFL prospects, NCAA national champions, and the Washington Rebellion Semi-Pro Softball Team.

After graduation, I started personal training and competing in CrossFit. At that time I started to expand on what it really meant to be healthy, fit, and happy. I got my Culinary Arts Degree and then started to travel and cook around the world. During my 5 years overseas, I participated in Vipassana and became a certified Tantra Teacher.

In 2022, I decided that it was time to take the next step in service. I opened Pelion in March as the culmination of everything I have learned through my travels, disciplines, and experiences. Pelion is where we can explore through training and discover the best versions of ourselves.

Thank you,
